Vision Plus is a Kenyan brand, registered trade mark of Kryptonite International, which started trading in 2017. It was created to provide high quality electronic products to the market at affordable prices. We deal in home entertainment electronics mainly.

Our service center is located on 4th Parklands Avenue, Diamond Plaza Annexe, on the 2nd floor, our Headquarters and distribution centre is at Premier Industrial Park, Warehouse 5, on Baba Dogo Road, in Baba Dogo, Nairobi.

Vision Plus products are designed in Kenya for Kenya but with outsourced manufacturing in the most renowned factories.

  • You can either use AUX In or TV In port. Make sure the cable (green) is plugged in to AUX In port or Tv In Port in the sound bar and the other end of the cable is connected to the headphone out in the Tv.
  • If you have the optical cable, plug in on the (Optical In) port of the sound bar, and the other end in the optical out port of the Tv.
  • To connect to Bluetooth, always tune the soundbar to Bluetooth option, then make sure you have a Bluetooth device on, search and pair the soundbar first, then play music
  • The TV comes with a connector, traditional red, white and yellow to single jack pin.
  • Insert the single jack pin in the mini AV/IN port of the Tv
  • The cable coming out of the DVD player, connect red into red, white into white, yellow into yellow.
  • Select AV/IN from the source of your remote on your TV
  • DVD player will display on your screen
  • Make sure the device you want to connect to the TV is Bluetooth enabled.
  • Go to home
  • Select settings
  • Select Bluetooth, then search for device, and connect.
  • Control your Vision Plus TV without the remote
  • Use your phone as a keyboard for your TV
  • Cast directly from your phone to the TV.
  • Go to home page, apps, then click on applications, look for e-share server, click enter and scan the QR code. If you do not have the QR code scanner, (download using the download link given under the QR code) please note, each TV has their own specific ID, then exit.
  • Download e-share on your phone, log in, look for your unique TV ID which is visible on the top (should read e-share server app), tap on it, press control at the bottom of the screen. You will be able to control the TV using your phone.
  • It will also allow you to cast from your phone to your TV
  • You can download from play store account, if you do not have play store account you can use free app store which has apps, and you do not need to sign in.
  • Go to google play store, sign in, you will see a variety of options to choose from, home, games, my apps, settings.
  • Go to home if you do not see the app that you are looking for, you can search using search icon or choose from the variety of apps already available on the store.
  • Select the one you want, enter, and then install. All downloaded apps will be in the applications tab.
  • This mostly happens when you have more than one applications running on the background.
  • Factory reset (in most cases this will fix the issue) if not,
  • Long press the home button
  • Scroll down till you get to the x
  • Close all the running applications on the background
  • Connect USB/External hard drive to your TV
  • Go to home screen, and scroll down
  • Go to media and enter
  • Under multimedia, you’ll see your device
  • Depending on what you want to access e.g. video, music, select one and play
  • Go to homepage, then select settings option
  • Click on network settings then enter
  • There are two options (wired net and wireless)
  • Scroll and select wireless option
  • Select your username, and key in the password and press ok.

SMART TV

  • Make sure the aerial is connected to RFN T2 port behind the TV
  • Go to home screen, select TV
  • Would you like to scan TV programs say YES
  • LCN should be on, search type should be Analog + Digital
  • Start scan, once scan is done go to channel list, locked ones, (you need to pay for them) you can only view the unlocked ones.

DIGITAL TV

  • Connect the aerial to the connector ( bought separately from aerial) then connect to port
  • Insert the aerial to RFN T2 port behind the TV, switch the tv, no signal
  • Go to menu, auto tuning, tuning setup
  • Country select Kenya, tune type select, DVT + ATV, digital type select DVB-T
  • Enter, start scanning, after scanning is complete, go back to screen ,exit on remote, then enter to see channel list
  • Smart TV press input, make sure to select (TV option)
  • Digital TV press source, select DTV ,enter ( check aerial/cable/send photo)
  • If it asks to scan, say no
  • Go to menu, channel, password ( not always a must) if there is, reset the TV

  • Make sure the cable is on (RFT2) port.

  • Input your username and password
  • Sign into your account, do not upgrade the Netflix version when prompted to. Use the original version that came with the TV.
  • For the following issues take the TV to the service centre
  • No sound
  • No pictures but there is sound
  • Not powering on
  • Lines on the screen
  • Cracks on the screen/Broken screen
  • The TV is hanging
  • Blank screen
  • My USB is not detected: go to home, applications, media, then enter (applicable to 32’’ and 43’’ smart) for the others simply go to home, then select media, the device will be visible.

If the TV turns off at regular intervals kindly factory reset then switch it on.

  • For all the remote issues, e.g broken, unresponsive remote, buttons not working etc contact the service centre for further assistance.
  • If you would like to get a new remote, share a picture, then contact the service centre number on 0724 888 777 for assistance.

Soundbar not connecting, keeps going off when playing music, always check on the cable connection the optical cable should be on optical port.

  • Using RCA cables.
  • Using 3.5mm analogue cables. If your TVdoesn’t use RCA connectors for audio output, it may have a headphone out port (3.5mm port).
  • Using an HDMI (ARC) cable to connectthe TVto a receiver or soundbar.
  • Using an HDMI cable via your receiver or soundbar through to the TV.
  • Using an optical cable.

Using E-share – Open the Netflix app, from the mouse functionality select sign in and put your password. On the remote you will see a button labeled mouse or size mouse. Once you click on it, it should bring a pop-up mini window at the button right of your screen. Use the arrow keys on your remote to scroll down the pages and look for whichever episodes you want. You can also use your remote with the onscreen keyboard to type and search for what you are looking for.

NO. It is not possible to update the operating system.

Clarity issues on a TV is affected by various issues. One is that it could be the source of what you are watching. In fact, not even all TV stations broadcast the same. Make sure the content being played is of good quality.

The current operating system for Vision Plus TVs is Android 9.0.

You can access the locked channels by buying an external decoder like, Star Times, GOtv e.t.c.

A sound bar, or media baris a type of loudspeaker that projects audio from a wide enclosure. Basically, in a soundbarmultiple speakers are placed in a single cabinet, which helps to create surround sound and/or stereo effect.

The 1channel version has a center channel – a separate speaker in themiddle of the sound bar – in addition to the left and right end speakers. It has a center, left and right speakers. The 2.1 only has 2 stereo speakers in the sound bar. Both come with the subwoofer.

You will usually get a little more depth in thesound, regarding power and bass, with the help of subwoofers. Soundbarsmay be single bars with speakers but most now come with different audio options including surround sound.

Our sound bars are purely AC enabled, there is an adapter that connects to the bar therefore no DC provisions.

After downloading the desired applications from the google play store, check the applications tab, where you will be able to see you tube app, click on it sign in using your email address and input your password. Click on the search tab, to search for music, movie, etc.

All our TV’s are smart, android apart from our 32”digital.

First check that your TV is set to the correct Source or Input, try changing the Source or Input to AV, TV, Digital TV or DTV if you haven’t already. If your “No Signal” message is notdue to incorrect Source or Input being selected, then it’s most likely caused by a set upor antenna fault.
