We understand that some of our customers may be experiencing issues with Netflix on their Vision Plus TVs, particularly those running Android TV AOSP version 9 and older.
We’re actively working to address this and provide a solution.

Why is this happening?

Due to recent changes in Netflix’s app compatibility requirements, many TV models and brands worldwide, including some Vision Plus Android TVs, are currently unable to access the Netflix app.

If you get any of the error messages below, your TV may be affected by the changes Netflix has made to its App compatibility:

“Netflix is no longer available on this device. Please visit
netflix.com/compatibledevices for a list of supported devices.”

“Netflix will no longer be available on this device after [DATE]. Please visit netflix.com/compatibledevices for a list of supported devices”, or

“This version of Netflix app is not compatible with your device. (-13)”,

We understand this situation is frustrating. Our technicians are dedicated to finding solutions and have developed ways to extend Netflix compatibility on affected Vision Plus 43” Android TVs (Model Number: VP8843SF) for a while longer.

How can we help

Option 1: Visit our Service center

You can bring your TV to our service center on the Ground Floor, Gallant Mall, where our technicians will update your TV’s operating system. You should have your TV back within 48 hours.

Option 2: For the Tech Savvy, Update from Home

CRITICAL WARNING: This update is exclusively for Vision Plus TV model VP8843SF (43” ANDROID TV) with panel numbers PT430CT02_1 or PT430CT02_4. Attempting this update on any other TV model may cause irreversible damage. Verify your panel number in the factory settings before proceeding.

TV Upgrade Option

We understand that this situation is frustrating. Unfortunately, due to the nature of these changes from Netflix, some older TV models may no longer be compatible with their app, even with updates.

In this case, the only solution is to upgrade your TV to a newer model with the latest Android Operating system, or one using a Netflix Certified Operating System like Vidaa.
